Logging In

It all begins with your CoachYouths username and password.

You will use your e-mail address, which will be verified to be valid and a 6-16 character password of your choice. We encrypt your password on our server so that WE will never even know your password.

Logging in will always be done over a secure connection using industry standard SSL certificates.

Updating Personal Information

First and foremost we will only collect the minimal personal information which is required to perform a specific task.

Updating any personal information requires a successful login and is handled ONLY using a secure connection.

Resetting Your Password

Since the security of your account depends on your password, we only reset passwords by sending a confirmation link to your e-mail address.

By doing this ONLY you will be able to reset the password, since outsiders should not have access to your e-mail.

We believe this is a better method than having a easy to guess security question, such as "My favorite color".

SSL Encryption

Any page that requires you to provide sensitive information will be encrypted using industry standard SSL encryption.

This prevents typical network packet sniffer attacks by encrypting all data and only our servers will be able to decrypt and read the data.

As an additional precation most data is dual encrypted before even being passed to our servers.

Proactive Monitoring

The threat to online security is always evolving, therefore we have taken a proactive stance.

We are constantly ugrading our security measures and monitor all potential attacks.

An example of this is that we FORCE your password to be reset if a login fails THREE times, this will notify you and US in the event someone tries to login without your permission.

We make sure that the software running on our servers is up to date and constantly patched to face the newest threats out there.

We maintain a BLACKLIST of origin countries that allow a heavy volume of illegal online activity, and we block users from these countries from accessing our site.

Internal Security Audits

We perform daily security scans of our own infrastructure and also employ several third-party security firms to probe our defenses.

This allows us to expose any weaknesses and fix them before an intruder has a chance to exploit them.

Reporting to Law Enforcement

In the event that data is comprimised or fradulent activity occurs we immeditently notify the proper authorities and openly assist them in locating and prosecuting the offenders.

Make no mistake about it, we take security seriously and will prosecute offenders to the fullest extent of the law.
